We arrived at Ormiston on the Saturday night before Christmas and drove out to Laidley on the Sunday. We pitched our tent and Jan’s then went to check out Wayne & Joan's “shed”. We were quite amazed at our campsite facilities. It was a fully equipped enormous shed with yellow brick (timber crete) and gorgeous barn doors, it was more like a two roomed house.
Also included in the price of our stay was one tractor,
a few motorbikes,
various small piles of rocks to play with
and a huge pile of sand.
Wayne had a pile of sand specially delivered for the kids to play in, large enough to lose a small child in fortunately we only lost one of Sam's thongs. On our arrival the pile had quite a high peak, by our departure it had assumed a more flatened position.
On the first day the boys just got stuck into it, Toby was in heaven. The trouble was, what was I going to do for the next 7 days without a washing machine? The boys clothes were promptly left in a bag to deal with later, until we discovered the Laidley laundromat...... they made quite a small fortune out of us that week.

Great to turn up your blog and catch up with all the latest photos etc. I've sent your address to Jessica so she can have a look also. Can't believe how Sam is growing.
