Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve Angels.

Ava & Ethan spent the afternoon collecting little purple flowers that grew along the back fence and giving them to everyone.  They both seemed to really enjoy each others company helping with the Christmas lights and picking flowers.

Joan had the kitchen all decked out with everything we needed and more. The shed was filled with tables, chairs and Christmas lights and tree. From the outside it truely looked like the nativity stable, barn doors and twinkling lights. Christmas Eve we tested the new BBQ with a roast ham, baked vegie salad, nibblies and of course the obligatory trifle. This was our trial run and we discovered how it “really” needed to be done when we cooked Christmas dinner on the BBQ the next day. Thank goodness for trial runs, otherwise we would have been eating burnt turkey, underdone pork and charcoal vegies!!!

Christmas Eve was spent with the entire Walker/Hammond clan eating and opening presents. 2 Cousins, 1 Aunty and 3 Uncles, 2 Grandma’s and 1 Grandad plus us 5 and Zinta too!
