Donald took Ethan & and Toby to the Under 6's soccer gathering yesterday, where they meet their teams and coach. Donald is the coach again this year. The boys & girls all got their shirts. Toby even scored a shirt and was pleased that he had a number 2 on his, the same as his age. He felt very special.
It is Ethan's third year of Under 6 soccer, so I think he's going to do pretty well this year seeing as he's an old hand at it now. Soccer for the U 6 & 7's has changed this year, where they used to have 6 a side on the field with a goal keeper included, now they only have 4 a side on the field and no goal keeper. In a way it's good for the new players as it's supposed to promote more opportunities for every player to get a kick at the ball instead of having 12 all on the ball at once, now it's just 8. I guess without a keeper more opportunities to score a goal too! Yay!!

Just wondering who they play for? Cooper is playing for the YMCA and we don't know about a team yet.
