Blog Anniversary and a giveaway

Well it has been a year since I started my blog.  I was first inspired by Carli's beautiful blog and lurked and loved it for a little while, as well as Stacy's and Mari's blogs, before I got the courage to make my own.  I felt as a mother of 3 boys I couldn't make it too pretty as it was mostly about them (not that I'm a particularly girly girl).  As Star Wars seems to be a popular theme in our house my family took on their own Star Wars identities and my blog has grown from there.  So many blogs to read and so little time to keep up with them.  They are inspirational, pictorial and just give a little glimpse into peoples lives that leave you wanting more which is the addictive nature of blogging.

As it's my first blog anniversary I thought I'd share a little giveaway of a couple of bars of lavender organic goats milk soap that I buy through Suzi's Co-op and it comes from here

It doesn't dry the skin like most soaps do and as everyone in our family has sensitive skin, it works for us. The lavender scented soap doesn't smell strong, but the more you use it the more you notice the sweet gentle fragrance and no the soap doesn't actually smell like fresh goats milk. I thought I'd try goats milk as a replacement for cows milk on my cereal but I couldn't get it past my gag reflex.  I may not be able to handle goats milk but I do love goats milk soap.

It's a stressful time of year with Christmas and holidays approaching so there's nothing more relaxing than having a bath or shower with some lavender scented soap, I know it's my little refreshing start to the day.  Just leave a comment about why you visit my blog and I will choose a winner next Thursday to post off in time for Christmas.  I'm really just trying to flush out the lurkers to see who actually reads my blog.

I'm really not expecting you to send me anything, really, since it would be quite costly. But I wanted to let you know anyway that I keep visiting your blog, because it's a nice way of keeping updated on what's going on in the lives of my aussie friends. We miss you terribly and this is a nice way to sort of stay in touch :-)

You know I'm a lurker from the start :) I love your blog because it's a simple and honest reflection of you, a beautiful person, and the people and creations you hold dear.

I only read your blog because I don't have a life of my own - but I really need some lavender soap 'coz I've got really smelly feet xxx Gabby
