With the end of school so near excitement is building in our house and that means crazyness, morning, noon and night. Boys running around the house at any given moment and getting a little distracted from what they should be doing.....like getting ready for school. So the mean mum that I am, after several warnings, I told the boys that if they weren't ready by 8.10am they would have to make their own school lunches. Sandwiches, fruit cut and morning tea. Yep you guessed it they were too busy getting distracted by each other so it was lunch making time. The moans and groans that came out of them you'd think I was beating them. So the punishment seemed to work and reminding them of these consequences seems to make them get ready even quicker.....for the time being that is. However it is their second time in two weeks that they have had to make their own lunches. I'm looking forward to the day that they make their lunches every day. Always live in hope.
