Thank Kim, I used my Patons learn to crochet book, it has all of the basic stitches and patterns, like hats, scarves, pillow cases, blankets etc. It took a little undoing and redoing a few times to get it right, but it was worth it.
That's GREAT!! My first crochet project was also a hat.. it turned out to look like a mash of doilies with a bobble and a strap around the chin... oh, and bright orange. I like yours LOTS better :o) LOL
